Looking At Halifax exhibition
Looking at Halifax from Beacon Hill four landmark buildings stand out.

These buildings track the long , varied history of the town and its changing fortune. The Parish Church represents old Halifax, the Piece Hall shows the importance of wool and cloth making in the eighteenth century , the Town Hall reflects the prosperity of the Victorian era and the Halifax Building Society building reminds us that history continues to be written here.

Members of Halifax Photographic Society working with Calderdale Museums have used these four iconic buildings as inspiration for this exhibition of new photographs exploring how Halifax appears today.

The exhibition continues until 12th.July opening daily 10.00am - 5.00pm
