Founded in 1914 and affiliated to the Yorkshire Photographic Union, Halifax Photographic Society has an enthusiastic membership and meets in a comfortable and hospitable environment.

Every season the Society offers an interesting programme of:

•Illustrated lectures both colour and monochrome

•Digital demonstrations and training

•Slide shows

•Practical "hands on" sessions

•Discussion evenings

•Print, slide and digital image competitions

•Displays of members' work

•Slide and print "battles" with other clubs

Also during the Summer months of May - September we have visits to local places of interest.
