The Northumberland coast is a photographer ' s dream with some of the best weather and best light in the U.K. It stretches from the border with Scotland at Berwick upon Tweed in the north to North Shields and Tynemouth in the south . Visitor numbers are still relatively low and many beaches are deserted for much of the time.The landscape is of sweeping beaches, historic castles and the ever changing sea and sky. However , you still need to be up early in the mornings and stay out late into the evenings to get the best of the light in order to capture those winning shots !!!
