Welcome to the web site of Halifax Photographic Society.


Halifax Photographic Society encourages photographers of all abilities to get together and improve their techniques and understanding of all aspects of photography, including digital cameras and images.

Our annual programme is compiled with this in mind, and covers a variety of practical sessions, guest speakers, competitions, inter-club battles and club outings.

If you are a complete novice or already a competent photographer, if you use digital or conventional film, then you will be welcomed at our club. We are known to be a friendly Camera club so why not drop in for an evening to find out if we and our programme suit you. We meet every Tuesday, September through to May, at 7.30 p.m. at Northowram Methodist Church
