WELCOME TO THE WEB SITE OF HALIFAX PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY
Founded in 1914 and affiliated to the Yorkshire Photographic Union, Halifax Photographic Society encourages photographers of all abilities to get together and improve their techniques and understanding of photography.
Our annual programme is compiled with this in mind, and covers a variety of practical sessions, guest speakers, competitions, inter-club battles and club outings.
Even if you are a complete novice or already a competent photographer you will be welcomed at our club.
We are known to be a friendly Camera club so why not drop in for an evening to find out if we and our programme suit you.

Meetings are held from September to July (4 week break in August) on Tuesday evenings.

Subscriptions
Full Membership £50.00. per annum (This includes all joint ZOOM meetings with Gallery Group, Middlesbrough) plus £2.00 for Tea / Coffee & Biscuits at meetings held at the Venue.
Standard Membership £40.00. per annum (This does NOT include any ZOOM meetings) plus £2.00 for Tea / Coffee & Biscuits at meetings held at the Venue.
Student Membership £20.00. per annum (For those in full time education under the age of 22)
Visitors will be charged £.3.00 on a normal club night or £ 5.00 on guest speaker nights ( this will be inclusive of refreshments ) .
The £3.00 visitor fee will be counted towards the full membership subscription should a visitor subsequently decide to join the Society.
