WELCOME TO THE WEB SITE OF HALIFAX PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY
Founded in 1914 and affiliated to the Yorkshire Photographic Union, Halifax Photographic Society encourages photographers of all abilities to get together and improve their techniques and understanding of photography.
Our annual programme is compiled with this in mind, and covers a variety of practical sessions, guest speakers, competitions, inter-club battles and club outings.
Even if you are a complete novice or already a competent photographer you will be welcomed at our club.
We are known to be a friendly Camera club so why not drop in for an evening to find out if we and our programme suit you.

Subscriptions
A Full Membership which includes the joint Zoom meetings with Gallery Group will be £50 per annum plus £2 entrance per meeting attended at the venue, which includes refreshments.
A Standard Membership which does not include the Zoom Meetings with Gallery Group will be £40 per annum plus £2 entrance per meeting attended at the venue which includes refreshments..
A Student Membership for those in Full time Education under the age of 22 years will be £20 per annum.
Visitors are welcome to any meeting so come along and see what we can offer. A charge of £3.00 is applied which is offset against subscriptions should you decide to take up full membership.
On speaker nights the charge is £5.00.
