Junior Member - Emily Shardlow

What a year!

It started with the Rotary Club that both myself and fellow junior member, Elliott, entered and were presented with lovely certificates.
Both of us progressed to the Intermediate Level where I got the runner up award and Elliott got the winners award and has progressed to the National Level. Good luck to Elliott !

After a talk at the HPS by Gareth Fletcher-Davies we booked, and met Gareth in the Dales and went to Snaizeholme and took some photographs.

My former teacher, Carol, has been sending pictures off to several people and has received responses confirming the following publications;
Thursday 27th February - Huddersfield Examiner printed some of my work in the "Your Pictures" section.
Saturday 14th March - BBC Countryfile published one of my images online as "Photo Of The Day"
May 2020 - Practical Photographer published as No.9 of the "10 Clicks" section, including a small write-up.
May 2020 - Digital Camera, Issue 229 "Behind The Lens" Interview. (See Below)
June 2020 - Outdoor Photography, Issue 258 - Due Out Soon !
